A bomb disposal team checked Praja Bhavan, the official residence of Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, in Hyderabad after a bomb threat. At the same time, a similar threat was made to IndiGo flight 6E2211 at Delhi airport, leading to an evacuation and security check that found no suspicious items. In Hyderabad, a call claimed bombs were placed at Praja Bhavan and Nampally city civil courts.

The police, with bomb disposal squads, dog squad, and other teams, searched Praja Bhavan and the surrounding areas. They also checked vehicles in Bhatti’s convoy and his family members’ vehicles but found nothing suspicious. The police are trying to find the person who made the fake call. The Ammavari Temple in Praja Bhavan was also inspected before authorities declared it a hoax.
