Hyderabad: Realty major Prestige Estates Projects Ltd has reported a strong response to its latest residential launch in Hyderabad, with over 1,700 units sold within just two weeks of launch, generating more than ₹2,500 crore in sales.
The company, in a regulatory filing, said the early traction highlights the continued demand for premium housing in Hyderabad, even as other segments of the real estate market have shown mixed trends in recent months.
Prestige Golden Grove Draws Strong Buyer Interest
The project, Prestige Golden Grove, is spread across 29 acres and will feature a total of 5,120 residential units. With the current pace of bookings, the company expects the project to generate an overall revenue of around ₹9,500 crore.
Industry experts say the quick sales indicate strong buyer confidence, particularly in branded developments that offer large-scale amenities, planned layouts, and better connectivity.
Hyderabad Continues to Attract Real Estate Investments
Hyderabad has remained one of the most active residential markets in India over the past few years. Factors such as relatively affordable property prices, strong IT sector growth, and expanding infrastructure have continued to attract both end-users and investors.
Areas around the western corridor, including Kokapet, Tellapur, and Financial District, have seen consistent demand, especially for gated communities and high-rise developments.
Premium Projects Driving Sales Momentum
Real estate analysts note that large developers like Prestige are benefiting from a shift in buyer preference towards trusted brands and large township-style projects. Buyers are increasingly looking for projects that offer security, amenities, and long-term value.
The strong response also comes at a time when reports have indicated a slight dip in overall housing sales in Hyderabad during early 2026, suggesting that well-positioned projects are still outperforming the broader market.
Company Sees Record Growth
Prestige Estates, headquartered in Bengaluru, has been expanding its presence across major cities including Hyderabad, Mumbai, and NCR.
During the 2025–26 financial year, the company recorded its highest-ever sales bookings of ₹30,024.5 crore, marking a 76% increase compared to the previous year. A total of 11,692 units were sold during the period.
So far, the group has delivered 313 projects covering over 206 million sq ft, and currently has a pipeline of 128 projects spanning 195 million sq ft across India.
Market Outlook
With strong early sales at Prestige Golden Grove, developers and analysts expect Hyderabad’s residential market to remain stable, especially in the mid-to-premium segment. Upcoming infrastructure projects and continued IT expansion are likely to support demand in the coming quarters.
