    Priests in Jogulamba Gadwal Meet to Discuss Unpaid Salaries and Plan Statewide Ritual in Hyderabad

    A key gathering of temple priests from various areas in Jogulamba Gadwal district took place today at the Swayambhu Lakshmi Venkateshwara Swamy Temple. Sri Chakravarthi Acharya, the district president of the Archaka Samakhya, led the meeting.

    Priests from Gattu, Maldakal, Gadwal, Rajoli, Manavapadu, and other regions actively joined the discussion. They focused on the issue of unpaid salaries for four months. The priests voiced their concerns and urged authorities to resolve the matter quickly.

    The meeting also covered the upcoming state-level Yagam set for July 14th, 15th, and 16th in Hyderabad. State President Vasudeva Sharma is organizing this religious event. Following his guidance, a planning meeting was held at the Maldakal Thimmappa Swamy Temple, overseen by Chakravarthi.

    Chakravarthi Acharya called on all priests in Jogulamba Gadwal to attend and support the Hyderabad Yagam. He stressed that their united presence would demonstrate their collective strength and spiritual unity.

    The district priests honored Sri Chakravarthi Acharya for his leadership, celebrating his nomination as a DDNS (Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyam Scheme) Select Committee Member. Priests from different mandals gathered to congratulate him.

    Several notable individuals attended the event, including Maldakal Mandal President Sri Baburao, Sri Shravan, and priests from Gattu and Maldakal, along with leaders and representatives from various mandal Archaka associations.

    The meeting emphasized unity among temple priests and highlighted the importance of timely payment of their dues, while also preparing for significant religious duties at the state level.
