Awareness Programme on Home Vegetable Cultivation Held in Nagarkurnool

An awareness and demonstration programme on home vegetable cultivation was conducted at the Agricultural Research Center in Palem, Nagarkurnool district. The event was led by Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Coordinator of Krishi Vigyan Kendra. He stressed that farmers can save money by growing nutritious vegetables and leafy greens in their home gardens.

Dr. Reddy also pointed out that excessive pesticide use in vegetable farming is harming human health and causing various diseases. He encouraged people to grow vegetables using organic methods in their home gardens. This approach not only provides healthy food but also reduces expenses and creates self-employment opportunities.
