Officers arrested three suspects in the raid. The main accused, Bimalsen, also known as Subrata, had recently shifted from West Bengal to Secunderabad. They also caught Sakil Hussain, known as Mulla, a man from Bangladesh, and a customer named SA Nazir, also from West Bengal.

Investigators revealed that Subrata was running a secret brothel in the area. He brought in women illegally from Bangladesh with help from two female traffickers, who acted as suppliers. These women were lured with false promises of a better life and were transported through West Bengal into Hyderabad.
