Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office to Akbaruddin Owaisi, the senior most MLA in the Assembly, as Protem Speaker. The ceremony took place at Raj Bhavan.
The Protem Speaker will then proceed to administer the oath to all the newly elected MLAs of the third Telangana Assembly starting from 11 am in the house.
The program was attended by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, former Speaker P Srinivas Reddy, and other senior leaders.
