The residents of Pulikal village in Aiza Mandal have made a formal request to the District Collector of Jogulamba Gadwal. They are asking for the reinstatement of their Panchayat Secretary, Mr. Kiran Kumar, who was suspended on September 17, 2024. The villagers praised the positive changes that Mr. Kumar brought during his five months in office.
In their appeal, the villagers mentioned several achievements of Mr. Kiran Kumar. They noted his dedication, as he moved to the village with his family and was available to the community at all times.
One of the major improvements under Mr. Kumar’s leadership was freeing sanitation workers from previous restrictions, allowing them to work more independently. He also resolved a long-standing issue of unpaid wages. Workers who had not received their salaries for six months were paid in full, and Mr. Kumar ensured that their wages would be paid on time in the future.
Mr. Kumar also focused on transparency and community involvement. He regularly held meetings to discuss village development and encouraged villagers to participate in decision-making processes.
The villagers highlighted that Mr. Kumar’s efforts had created a sense of unity and progress in the village. They are urging the authorities to reinstate him so that he can continue the development work.
The residents remain hopeful that the District Collector will approve their request and allow Mr. Kiran Kumar to return to his role for the betterment of Pulikal village.
