Hyderabad saw a heartwarming event today as the Race2Win Foundation, in collaboration with the Hyderabad Race Club, opened the doors to a newly upgraded Anganwadi Centre in Malakpet.
Popular actress Regina Cassandra and Mr. Y. Gopi Rao, the founder of Race2Win Foundation, officially launched the center. Their goal is to offer better learning spaces for children in underserved communities.
This project is part of Race2Win Foundation’s ongoing efforts to promote horse racing in India while also contributing to social welfare. By adopting the Malakpet Anganwadi Centre, located near the Hyderabad Race Club, the foundation turned it into a vibrant, child-friendly space.
The renovated centre now features:
– A bright, colorful setting with mural art that encourages joyful learning
– A large LED TV screen for interactive education
– Comfortable low tables and soft carpets to make the space safe and cozy
– A specially designed audio-visual curriculum to boost phonics, vocabulary, and early language development
During the event, Regina Cassandra highlighted the value of early education. “Children need a nurturing space to grow emotionally and intellectually,” she said. “It’s uplifting to see Race2Win Foundation create a place that supports both learning and well-being.”
Mr. Y. Gopi Rao shared his vision behind the initiative. “We want to ensure that children from disadvantaged backgrounds have access to quality education,” he said. “This Smart Anganwadi Centre reflects our promise to empower the next generation.”
The launch of this upgraded center is just one of many social service efforts by the Race2Win Foundation, aimed at helping poor and marginalized communities.
