Hyderabad: Police Commissioner Visits Ibrahimpatnam Station
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudhir Babu recently visited the Ibrahimpatnam police station. During his visit, he evaluated the work of officers and staff in different police stations. He also looked into the services provided to the public.
The Commissioner held a meeting with police officials to discuss maintaining law and order in the Rachakonda area. He reviewed the performance of departments such as reception, patrolling, and CCTV maintenance. Officials were instructed to remain vigilant at all times. Emphasis was placed on prioritizing women’s safety.
Illegal PDS Rice Transport Uncovered
The Hyderabad city task force uncovered illegal transportation of PDS rice and arrested three individuals. However, four others involved are still on the run. Based on credible information, the Commissioner’s Task Force from the South Zone, with help from Chandrayangutta Police and Civil Supplies Officials Circle-II, Yakuthpura, conducted a raid. They apprehended three suspects and seized the rice. The seized items and the suspects were handed over to the Chandrayangutta police station for further action.
Domestic Tragedy: Man Stabs Wife
A tragic incident occurred on Saturday when a man named Syed Hasan, aged 47, stabbed his wife, Asma Begum, to death. Hasan married Asma about ten years ago. Asma had two children from her previous marriage and two with Hasan. On that day, Hasan attacked Asma with a kitchen knife, resulting in her death.
After the attack, Hasan placed the knife in Asma’s handbag and took her to the hospital. However, security guards at the hospital caught him. He later confessed to killing his wife due to suspicions about her character. The Nampally police station has registered a case against him.
