BJP’s Medak Lok Sabha candidate Raghunandan Rao claimed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was previously arrested through phone tapping. This indicates that phone tapping has been occurring since 2014. Rao called for a thorough investigation into the phone tapping incidents, including identifying the officials responsible at the time.
Rao specifically named KTR, Harish Rao, and Venkatarami Reddy as defendants in the case, emphasizing that all parties involved should be held accountable. He stressed that no one has the authority to tap the phones of family members.
Former DGP PA Srinath Reddy disclosed that he travelled to America on official expenses. He also suggested that phone tapping may have influenced the outcome of previous elections, citing Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy’s loss in a by-election as an example.
