Electioneering for the Assembly polls in Telangana has become more intense as both the Congress and BRS parties are trying to outdo each other. Rahul Gandhi, a senior Congress leader, has been in the state for the past two days and on Sunday, he accused KCR of leading the most corrupt government in the country. Rahul Gandhi claimed that bribery is necessary to pass exams and get jobs in the state. He mentioned that job aspirants have spent a lot of money on coaching, but the BRS government failed to prevent paper leaks, leaving them disappointed.

Rahul Gandhi also mentioned his meeting with youth in Hyderabad and pointed out that those who are connected to KCR or his family find it easy to clear exams, while others find it impossible. He criticized the BRS government for neglecting the future of Telangana and not listening to their problems. Rahul Gandhi promised that if Congress is voted to power, they would implement the Vidya Bharosa Card scheme for higher education and establish Telangana International Schools in every mandal.

Rahul Gandhi criticized the current state of Telangana, referring to it as a place where a single family has looted the wealth of the state. He accused the government of corruption and misusing public funds. He also responded to BRS’ questions about the Congress’ accomplishments, mentioning that the roads KCR travels on were built during Congress’ rule and the schools and university he attended were constructed by Congress. He claimed that Congress transformed Hyderabad into a global city.

Rahul Gandhi also took aim at the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he faced multiple cases and hours of questioning by probe agencies, but they couldn’t shake him. He accused the BJP of supporting BRS to defeat Congress and highlighted the alliance between the pink party and saffron party. He also mentioned that MIM, which has supported BJP at the national level, is a third player in the Assembly elections.
