Rahul Gandhi, the former Congress President, has moved out of his official residence and is looking for a new place to live. Sources within the Congress party have revealed that he may move into the 3BHK flat in Nizamuddin East, south Delhi, which was previously occupied by former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. Rahul Gandhi will be renting the residence, which was vacated by Sheila Dikshit’s son, Sandeep Dikshit.

After leaving his official residence at 12 Tughlaq Lane in central Delhi, Rahul Gandhi had been living with his mother, Sonia Gandhi, at 10 Janpath. The flat in Nizamuddin East belonged to Sheila Dikshit’s family and she had lived there from 1991 to 1998. She returned to the residence in September 2014 after stepping down as Governor of Kerala. Sadly, Sheila Dikshit passed away on July 20, 2019.
