AICC senior leader Rahul Gandhi spoke in a public meeting in Peddapally, expressing his love and affection for the people of Telangana. He mentioned that when Sonia Gandhi decided to create Telangana, she knew it would affect the Congress party, but she still took the bold step to establish a new state.

Rahul Gandhi criticized CM KCR for ruining the dreams of the people and Sonia Gandhi for Telangana. He stated that this election is now a fight between “Dorala Telangana” and “Prajala” Telangana. He accused the KCR family of controlling important departments related to Land, Sand, and liquor. The Kaleshwaram irrigation project was cited as an example of corruption by CM KCR, where people’s lands were grabbed and drowned without any benefit to them, only benefiting the contractor and his family.

He also alleged that BJP, BRS, and AIMIM joined forces against Congress. While BJP was filing cases against opposition parties nationwide, no cases were filed against BRS and MIM.
