    Rahul Gandhi, a leader of Congress, has left his official bungalow in Delhi and moved to his mother’s house. He was told to leave the bungalow because he was disqualified from Lok Sabha following a defamation case. Gandhi said that he is paying the price for telling the truth and will continue to raise people’s issues about corruption and price rise. He left the bungalow on Saturday morning after living there for almost 20 years.

    Gandhi handed over the keys of the house to the Central Public Works Department officials and shook their hands while thanking them. He said that he has no problem leaving the house and he will stay with his mother at 10, Janpath for some time before finding another place to live. His sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, said that Rahul is courageous and will continue his fight.

    The Congress party launched a “MeraGharAapkaGhar” campaign on social media with party leaders offering their homes to Gandhi. The party said that the government may take away a house, but Gandhi occupies a place in the hearts and homes of millions of Indians. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera said that Rahul Gandhi is not worried about the government house or his post. He did not compromise on his principles even after risking everything.
