Dr. Man Singh, Director General of Railway Health Services, held a review meeting in Hyderabad on Friday. He discussed the performance of the medical department with senior officials from South Central Railways.

The meeting focused on improving medical facilities in railway hospitals. Dr. Singh reviewed the availability of advanced medical equipment like CT scans, Cath Labs, X-ray machines, and ultrasound machines. He also discussed upgrading hospital wards, ICUs, and diagnostic equipment. Plans for constructing new hospital buildings for Indian Railways were also considered. Additionally, he suggested hiring more specialist doctors to provide better medical care for railway employees and their families.

Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager of South Central Railways, stressed the importance of providing high-quality healthcare to all employees and their families. He also suggested updating old diagnostic procedures to ensure faster and more accurate results.
