Finance and Health Minister T Harish Rao inspected railway track line work in Mandapalli, along with district collector Prashant Jeevan Patil, DCE of railways Santosh Kumar, and AEE Soma Raju. He asked railway officials to hurry up with the work and cautioned against delays. The Railway Safety officials will conduct a trial run by August 15. The minister asked for reasons for delays in the underpass bridge work near Mandapalli.

The minister also said that Rs.500 crore has been allotted for the Siddipet-Sircilla railway line work and the tender process is complete. He suggested taking up a side-line to ensure normal traffic because of the upcoming four-lane Elkaturthi-Medak national highway.
