Hyderabad: To handle the increased number of travelers during Christmas and New Year, South Central Railway (SCR) has introduced special trains between Charlapalli and Kakinada Town. This move aims to accommodate the high demand as people travel home for the holidays.
Train 07196 will depart from Charlapalli at 7:30 PM on select days from December 24 to December 30. The return train, 07195, will leave Kakinada Town at 7:50 PM from December 28 to December 31.
These trains will travel overnight, stopping at major stations like Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Guntur, Vijayawada, Tenali, Rajahmundry, and Samalkot. They will feature various classes, including First AC cum II AC, AC III Tier, Sleeper, and General Second Class, providing several options for passengers. Railway officials stated that these special trains are designed to make festive travel smoother and help more passengers secure confirmed seats during the busy holiday season.
