Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) planned a public meeting called ‘BC Kadhana Bheri’ in Karimnagar on August 14. However, it has been postponed due to forecasts of heavy rain in the area and other parts of the state over the next three days.
The party chose Karimnagar to rally Backward Class (BC) communities, aiming to push for 42% reservations for BCs. Party leaders will decide a new date for the meeting soon. Initially set for August 8, the event was delayed to August 14 because of bad weather.
This marks the second postponement within a week. Meanwhile, BRS leader K Chandrashekhar Rao held an urgent meeting with senior leaders like KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao to discuss the state’s political situation.
