A fire broke out in a Rajdhani AC bus belonging to TSRTC in Suryapet district, resulting in a fatal accident. The incident occurred at Indira Nagar in Moddulacheruvu while the bus was en route from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. The fire reportedly started after the bus hit a scooty on the road, causing it to spread quickly. Fortunately, all passengers were able to evacuate the bus safely before it was completely gutted in the fire. However, the accident caused heavy traffic congestion on NH-65 as the bus came to a stop on the road.
The bus has been identified as belonging to Miyapur depot, and the deceased person has been identified as Raju, a resident of Indiranagar in Munagala mandal. Raju was riding the scooty that was hit by the bus and sustained serious injuries as a result. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Suryapet but unfortunately passed away while undergoing treatment.
