Hyderabad: MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has sparked discussions about the implementation of government welfare schemes, focusing on the much-awaited Raitu Bharosa program for farmers. He pointed out that the promises made under the program were not fully kept, and cash disbursements meant for farmers had been reduced.
Reddy explained that these changes were due to the state’s strained financial situation. He stated, “The government is struggling to meet its financial targets, which is why the rural population is expressing frustration with the administration.”
Despite these financial challenges, Reddy highlighted that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy still enjoys strong public support. “People still appreciate Revanth Reddy, and we are determined to continue with the welfare schemes,” he said.
The MLA assured citizens that the government remains focused on helping the poor through welfare programs. He emphasized, “We will continue implementing the schemes, even if it means taking on more debt.” This statement reflects the administration’s commitment to ensuring benefits reach those in need.
