Congress leader and former MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has suggested that former Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao should retire from politics. He also claimed that if he had contested in the Gajwel constituency, KCR would have lost. Rajagopal Reddy expressed happiness over the selection of Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka as the Deputy CM of Telangana and congratulated him. He hopes to serve as a minister in the Congress government and believes that even if he doesn’t get a place now, he will in the second phase of cabinet expansion. Rajagopal Reddy believes that the Congress government is working towards the all-round development of Telangana and aims to make it a role model for the entire country.
