Vikarabad MLA Gaddam Prasad Kumar has been chosen as the new Speaker of Telangana Legislative Assembly. Previously, he served as the Textile Minister in the cabinet of former Chief Minister Nallari Kirankumar Reddy in 2012. Prasad Kumar is a dedicated follower of Revanth Reddy, and he has now been appointed as the Speaker.
Damodara Rajanarsimha, who won the SC quota, has been appointed as a minister, while Prasad Kumar has been given the role of Speaker by the administration. This decision has brought joy to the Dalit social circles.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy has taken oath as the new Chief Minister of Telangana. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the LB Stadium, with dignitaries such as Sonia, Rahul, and Priyanka Gandhi in attendance.
