Rajendranagar’s lakes and parks undergo inspection by GHMC commissioner

The GHMC Commissioner, Ronald Rose, has told the sanitation staff to collect garbage regularly from people’s homes. He recently inspected various lakes and sanitation work in the Rajendranagar and Attapur Division. During his visit, he asked the officers from the National Academy of Customs and Narcotics to beautify Pedda Talla Kunta pond under the Swachh Bharat initiative. The Customs officials want to do more development work like cleaning the pond and adding greenery. The Commissioner also promised to provide lighting, fencing, CCTV cameras, and an open gym in parks as requested by local residents.

Ronald Rose spoke to residents about garbage collection from their houses and inspected areas where garbage is a problem. He visited Chintakunta Park and was told about sewage water overflowing into the park, causing a bad smell. He told an executive engineer to take immediate action. He also visited Janapriya Apartments in Hyderguda and asked for footpaths to prevent encroachments on the road.

The Commissioner was joined by EVDM Director Prakash Reddy, Charminar Zonal Commissioner Venkanna, Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar, EE Narendra Goud, and other officials.
