Hyderabad: Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy firmly dismissed rumors about leaving the Congress party. He called these rumors a social media effort to harm his image. Speaking to reporters, Rajgopal Reddy advised the public to ignore claims that he opposed the Congress government and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy due to not being offered a cabinet position.
He expressed frustration over false reports suggesting his resignation as an MLA and plans to start a new party. “I have won twice as a dedicated Congress member. I admire Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, and my family stays loyal to the party,” he affirmed.
Addressing allegations of meeting former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy, he clarified, “This is untrue. I am attending an event at Modugula Venugopal Reddy‘s house. This is a plot against me.”
Rajgopal Reddy urged the people of Telangana not to believe the misleading information circulating on social media. He concluded by defending his past public statements, saying, “I have spoken publicly to support the Congress party’s growth. There is nothing wrong with that.”
