Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recently spoke at a BJP event before Union Minister Kishan Reddy filed his nomination for the Lok Sabha polls. Singh criticized the Congress party, stating that it has become outdated and is losing relevance in Indian politics. He emphasized that the BJP focuses on nation-building, not just on gaining power.

Addressing a rally in Khammam, where T Vinod Rao filed his nomination for the Khammam Lok Sabha seat, Singh reiterated his belief that the Congress is losing its significance in Indian politics. He criticized the Congress for engaging in appeasement politics, stating that the BJP’s approach is based on justice and humanity, not on caste, creed, or religion.

Singh also took aim at the ruling party in Telangana, stating that they have no moral right to seek votes without fulfilling their promises. He credited the formation of Telangana to the sacrifices made by many individuals, rather than to any specific political party.

The Defence Minister highlighted the lack of corruption allegations against BJP governments led by Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi, contrasting this with corruption charges against previous Congress governments. Singh praised the economic growth achieved under Modi’s leadership, stating that India has become the fastest growing economy in the world.

He also mentioned BJP’s fulfillment of promises such as the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the abrogation of Article 370, and the abolition of triple talaq. Singh dismissed misinformation about the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), assuring minorities that they will not lose their citizenship under this law.

In conclusion, Singh urged voters to support Kishan Reddy in Secunderabad and Etala Rajender in Malkajgiri, emphasizing the importance of electing them with significant majorities.
