Rangareddy District is focusing on building Indiramma homes quickly. Collector C Narayana Reddy has announced that over 16,000 houses have been approved in the district.
During a video meeting at the Collectorate, the Collector emphasized the importance of the Indiramma house and Rajiv Vikasam Schemes. The aim is to help all eligible people promptly. He urged officials to start construction immediately and finish on time.
The Collector stressed effective execution of the Indiramma scheme. He recommended setting up supervision committees in each mandal. He also instructed that the prices for building materials like sand, bricks, and stone, as well as mason fees, should be decided.
He shared that 16,617 homes are approved for eligible residents. There are 839 applications still pending, which will be processed soon. All beneficiaries will get free sand for construction.
For the Rajiv Vikasam scheme, Mr. Reddy asked for the list of beneficiaries to be submitted to his system. Under this scheme, each beneficiary should receive at least RS 1 lakh in June.
The meeting included Project Director DRDA Rangareddy Srilatha, BC, and Minority Welfare officers, among other officials.
