Hyderabad: Rashtrapati Nilayam hosted a special event to celebrate World Heritage Day. The aim was to involve young students and teach them about India’s rich cultural and architectural history.
About 1,628 students from different schools took part in the celebration. One of the main highlights was a video screening that showed the three Presidential Retreats in India – Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad, and Rashtrapati Niwas in Shimla. The video gave students a closer look at the history and importance of these heritage sites and explained the President’s vision for preserving them.
After the video, the students joined a heritage walk around Rashtrapati Nilayam. Guides explained the background of the buildings and talked about their design and cultural importance. The event also included interactive sessions led by experts in heritage conservation, giving students a chance to learn more and ask questions.
