The Stamps and Registration Department of Telangana has announced a temporary suspension of its website and online services from June 26 to June 28 due to scheduled server maintenance. Inspector General of Stamps and Registration, Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu, informed that the maintenance work is essential to upgrade the department’s digital infrastructure and ensure better service delivery to citizens.
The maintenance exercise is being conducted after nearly five years and aims to enhance server performance, strengthen security standards, and improve the overall quality and reliability of registration services. The temporary shutdown will affect the department’s online portal and all allied digital services during this period. The IG emphasized that the upgrade is crucial for the smooth functioning of the department’s technological systems.
Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu clarified that the impact on working days will be minimal, as June 26 is a public holiday on account of Muharram and June 28 falls on a Sunday. This means registration services will be affected on only one working day, which is June 27. The maintenance schedule was deliberately planned to ensure the least possible disruption to citizens and their registration-related activities.
The department has advised the public to plan their property registration and other related activities accordingly during this period. Citizens requiring urgent registration services are encouraged to complete their work before June 26 or wait until services resume. The temporary suspension applies to all online services provided by the Stamps and Registration Department, including document verification, appointment booking, and other digital facilities.
All registration services will resume normal operations from June 29, the IG confirmed. Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu requested the public’s cooperation and understanding during the maintenance period, assuring that the upgrades will result in improved service quality and enhanced user experience for all citizens accessing the department’s digital platforms.
