Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has announced that water release into the Sagar Dam left canal will resume this Friday. Repair work has been ongoing for the past two weeks to fix potholes at various locations. Engineers have assured the public that the repair work will be completed by Friday evening, and water will be released into the canal at 11 am on the following Saturday. However, authorities have not yet received instructions regarding the specifics of the water release. It is expected that an initial release of 5,000 cusecs will take place, starting at 500 cusecs and increasing by 1,000 cusecs per hour to ensure a controlled flow of water into the left canal.
