Karimnagar: Dr. Bangari Swamy, head of Rene Hospitals, was honored with the ‘Asia Today Indo-UK Global Healthcare Leader Award 2025’ at the London Parliament on Friday.

After receiving the award, Dr. Swamy expressed that this recognition has increased his sense of duty. He emphasized that medicine goes beyond being a profession; it is also a social obligation. He credited his wife, Dr. Bangari Rajani Priyadarshini, and the hospital staff for their support in achieving this award.

Dr. Swamy announced that Rene Hospital will annually offer free joint replacement surgeries to ten people, in memory of his mother, Kirti Seshu Bangari Lakshmi.

He highlighted that Karimnagar is rapidly becoming a leading healthcare hub globally. Rene Hospital aims to lead in bringing innovative medical advancements to the region, eliminating the need to travel to bigger cities like Hyderabad for advanced treatments.

Dr. Swamy also revealed plans to introduce robotic joint replacement surgery in North Telangana next October, offering cutting-edge medical services to the local community.
