Nagarkurnool: Police in Bizinapally have arrested a man who was stealing from empty houses to fund his drinking and partying lifestyle. CI Ashok Reddy shared this information with the media on Sunday.
The suspect, Battula Mallesh, lives in Nagarkurnool town. Over the past year, he began stealing to support his habit of extravagant spending. After Venkataiah from Palem village reported a burglary, police set up a special team to monitor Mallesh closely.
On Sunday, they detained Mallesh during an inspection. He admitted to breaking into five houses over the past year. He also confessed to selling some of the stolen goods to keep up his luxury lifestyle.
