Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, a respected leader in the communist community, received a tribute with full honours from the Telangana government during his funeral procession. Police fired shots into the sky to honour him, while CPI members and leaders passionately chanted slogans like “Comrade Amar Rahe.”
The procession started at Makhtoom Bhavan and proceeded to Gandhi Medical College, where Reddy’s body will be transferred. Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy had been battling health issues and unfortunately passed away on Friday night while receiving treatment at Care Hospital in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
