Report Reveals Queen Elizabeth's Acceptance of Prince Harry's War Risk of Death.

According to a report by UK-based Express, a new docu-series by ITV has revealed that Queen Elizabeth II did not want Prince William to engage in fighting during their military service due to the perceived risk of him dying on the battlefield. However, she viewed the risk of Prince Harry being killed in battle as “acceptable”. The former head of the Army, Sir Mike Jackson, revealed that the Queen told him during a private audience that both princes need to serve in the forces but only Harry should be sent to war. This further strengthens Prince Harry’s argument that he was viewed as “heir to the heir and the spare” and could create further rifts within the royal family. Prince Harry served in the Army for a decade and was posted in Afghanistan twice, rising to the rank of captain, while Prince William completed seven years of military training and rose to the rank of lieutenant in the Household Cavalry.
