Republic Day Celebrations at Sphoorthy Engineering College
In Hyderabad, Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sphoorthy Engineering College. The college secretary, Mr. S. Jaganmohan Reddy, paid floral tributes to the photographs of Indian freedom fighters, honoring their sacrifices for the nation. Following this, he hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering. He encouraged everyone to uphold the ideals of independent India and stressed the importance of self-belief and courage to achieve success in life. Additionally, he emphasized the need to focus on sustainable development to tackle global challenges effectively.
The principal, Dr. Akula Giridhar, spoke on the occasion and urged students to take the lead in driving progress while enjoying the freedoms guaranteed in India. He praised the students for their special contributions, including parades and drills, which added vibrancy to the celebrations.
