Gadwal: People living in Ward No 12 of Bingidoddi village in Aija Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal district, face serious danger. There are no proper electricity poles, causing risky electric wires to hang over their homes. BJP Mandal President Gopalakrishna and the local community are urging authorities to act quickly.

Gopalakrishna mentioned that the colony has existed for over 25 years with more than 200 houses, yet there are no concrete roads or electricity poles. The residents are forced to use wooden poles for electricity, which has already resulted in some people getting shocks. Recently, a homeowner had to fix a wire after being shocked by a low-hanging live wire.

Locals feel the colony is ignored, while roads are only built near officials’ homes. Gopalakrishna questioned who would be accountable if any resident is harmed. He noted that despite informing the Assistant Engineer of the electricity department, nothing has been done yet.
