Retired Telangana Employee Clinches Gold at National Powerlifting Championship

Sonipat City, Haryana: Shri Perumalla Pradeep Kumar, a retired Assistant Accounts Officer from the Rachakonda Commissionerate, recently won a gold medal in a national powerlifting competition. The event took place in Sonipat City, Haryana, from September 13 to September 16, 2024. Competitors from all over India participated in the event.

Pradeep Kumar competed in the 83 kg weight category for the Masters – 3 division. He lifted a total of 390 kg, which earned him the first-place position. His impressive performance brought pride not only to himself but also to the Telangana State Police Department and the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.

To celebrate his success, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Shri G. Sudhir Babu (I.P.S) held a special ceremony to honor Pradeep Kumar. During the event, the Commissioner praised Kumar’s dedication and expressed hope that he would continue to achieve great things in future competitions.
