Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has accused BRS President K Chandrashekar Rao and his family of trying to manipulate Telangana’s history to benefit themselves.

On Friday, the Chief Minister unveiled the book Vijaya Telangana, written by senior leader T Devender Goud. Speaking at the event, he said that KCR’s family wanted to make it seem like only one person, one family, and one political party were responsible for Telangana’s formation. However, he emphasized that the real history should include the sacrifices of students and young people who actively participated in the Telangana movement.

He further stated that after coming to power, the Congress government made changes in line with people’s aspirations. They officially changed the state’s abbreviation from TS to TG and introduced Jaya Jayahe Telangana as the state’s official song. He clarified that these decisions were not his alone but reflected the people’s wishes.
