The PCC chief of Hyderabad, Revanth Reddy, accused IT Minister K T Rama Rao of threatening the hotel management hosting the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting. Revanth alleged that during a visit to the hotel, KTR questioned the managers about allowing the Congress party’s event and asked if they wanted to continue their business. Revanth criticized KTR’s behavior and stated that if the Congress had acted similarly while in power, the BRS government would not exist today.

Revanth also highlighted how the BRS government tried to sabotage Rahul Gandhi’s public meeting in Khammam by stopping drinking water supply and harassing private vehicle drivers. Despite the obstacles, the meeting was successful and attracted a large crowd. He acknowledged the support of local farmers in providing space for the upcoming public meeting near Tukkuguda, as they came forward when efforts to obtain permission from government departments failed.
