Kumar has previously served as the Chairman of Sangeetha Nataka Mandali and as the Mahabubnagar district president of BRS. During his meeting with the CM, he was accompanied by senior Congress leaders like Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Medical and Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, Special Representative for TS government in Delhi Jithender Reddy, and Jadcherla legislator Janampalli Anirudh Reddy.
Although the details of their discussions are not known, the presence of these important figures suggests a strategic move to strengthen the Congress party in the district.
