TPCC president A Revanth Reddy addressed a public meeting at Parkal on Monday. He emphasized that it is the responsibility of the Congress party to develop Parkal constituency. Revanth introduced Congress Parkal candidate Revuri Prakash Reddy and highlighted the historical significance of the constituency in opposing the Nizam rule and producing Telangana ideologue Prof Jayashankar.

Revanth criticized KCR for his remarks against the Indiramma Rajyam. He stated that it was during Indira Gandhi’s regime that marginalized sections of society were empowered through land reforms and housing schemes. He demanded an apology from KCR for his baseless criticism.
