Hyderabad experienced heavy rain, prompting Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to alert district Collectors and officials. They must stay vigilant.
The Chief Minister met with officials at the state Secretariat to discuss the impact on affected areas. He emphasized cooperation among all departments to support low-lying regions. Officials received directives to prepare for relief efforts, especially in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), where floods have occurred.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts more rain in the next three days. Reddy urged Collectors to frequently assess the flood conditions with all departments. The goal is to minimize property damage and prevent loss of life.
Reddy also instructed officials to be available 24/7 in every district. This ensures quick responses to any rain-related emergencies and aids those affected. Senior officials were tasked to coordinate with district Collectors, and disaster management teams were mobilized for swift action.
