Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is urging Left party leaders to support Congress candidate Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy in the Bhongir Lok Sabha constituency. He emphasized that the Congress has always respected the Left parties, despite ideological differences.

Revanth criticized the BRS for not giving the Left parties the respect they deserve. He pointed out that the Left parties have historically advocated for the poor and marginalized, while BRS leader K Chandrasekhar Rao, who once sought their support for a separate Telangana, later disregarded and humiliated them.

Speaking at a road corner meeting in Bhongir after Kiran Kumar Reddy’s nomination filing, Revanth called for a united front between the Left parties and Congress at both state and national levels to protect democracy. He stressed the importance of the INC alliance becoming a strong force against the Modi-led NDA government.

Revanth urged for a collective effort to prevent the BRS from winning any seats in the upcoming elections, warning that a BRS victory would mean aligning with Modi’s government. He praised Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy for his sacrifices during the Telangana movement, suggesting that Venkat Reddy would be a fitting successor as CM.

Revanth also lauded the government’s efforts in providing jobs to thousands of youth and expanding healthcare coverage under Aarogyasri.

Revanth criticized Modi for questioning the legitimacy of Telangana’s creation and reminded voters that Modi had dismissed it as a Congress conspiracy. He expressed confidence in the Komatireddy brothers’ ability to drive development in Nalgonda district, alongside Kiran Kumar Reddy’s potential as MP for Bhongir.
