TPCC President A Revanth Reddy criticized the BJP and BRS, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of looting the country’s wealth for his friends and CM KCR of looting the state’s wealth for his family. He described BRS and BJP as two sides of the same coin, both advocating twins. On the occasion of late former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary, people paid their respects to his statue at Somajiguda in Hyderabad.
During his speech, TPCC chief highlighted that Congress fought for the freedom of the country, while BJP has a history of implementing divide-and-rule policies like the British rulers. He pointed out the Manipur incident as evidence of this, criticizing BRS for not speaking about it in the Assembly. He condemned the task of insulting the Congress, a party that had sacrificed for the country’s benefit.
