TPCC President A Revanth Reddy criticized the BJP and BRS, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of looting the country’s wealth for his friends and Chief Minister KCR of looting the State’s wealth for his family. Reddy referred to BJP and BRS as advocates of twins, suggesting that they are similar in their actions. On the occasion of late former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary, people paid tributes to his statue at Somajiguda in Hyderabad.
During his speech, Reddy emphasized that Congress fought for the freedom of the country, while BJP has a history of implementing a divide-and-rule policy, similar to the British rulers. He pointed out the Manipur incident as an example and criticized BRS for not speaking up about it in the Assembly. Reddy further criticized the task of insulting the Congress, which has made sacrifices for the country.
