TPCC President A Revanth Reddy criticized the BJP and BRS, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking wealth from the country for his friends, while CM KCR is taking wealth from the state for his family. He compared BRS and BJP, saying they are like two sides of the same coin. On the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, people paid tribute to his statue at Somajiguda in Hyderabad.
During his speech, Revanth Reddy mentioned that Congress fought for the freedom of the country, but the BJP follows a divide-and-rule policy similar to the British rulers. He pointed out the Manipur incident as proof of this and criticized BRS for not addressing the issue in the Assembly. He further criticized the task of insulting Congress, which has made great sacrifices for the country.
