A power struggle is happening between Congress and BRS. Revanth Reddy, the president of TPCC, responded to BRS’s decision to hold Rythu Vedikas with the slogan “Three crops three hours of power.” Revanth challenged BRS leaders to debate this issue at electric sub-stations. He clarified that Congress never said they would only provide three hours of power and stated that if farmers near the sub-stations confirmed uninterrupted 24-hour power supply, Congress would not seek votes in those areas. However, if farmers reported not receiving 24×7 power, BRS should not participate in the elections in those constituencies.

Revanth mentioned that Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy exposed BRS’s false claims on 24-hour power supply by revealing the log books at sub-stations. He also criticized BRS for not fulfilling their promise of giving Rs 10 lakh to each house in KCR’s native village, Chintamadaka.

During a media conference, Revanth accused KCR of recommending to Chandrababu Naidu in 2001 to stop announcing freebies like free power due to the burden it would place on the exchequer. He claimed to have evidence to support this.

Revanth further alleged that KCR took Rs 1 crore from Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy, an MLA from Andhra region, to fund the TRS party flag and print membership books.

Additionally, Revanth claimed that before leaving TDP, KCR sought help from various leaders like Tummala Nageswara Rao, Mandava Venkateswara Rao, and Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy to secure a meeting with Naidu and be included in the Council of Ministers. However, Naidu refused to meet him, leading KCR to leave TDP and start his own party.
