Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, BJP leader Amit Shah, and BRS supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao are all set to kick off their election campaigns on the same day. The three main political parties have scheduled their events for Tuesday.
The Chief Minister will address a meeting of women Self Help Groups at Parade Grounds in Hyderabad. He will launch the ‘Mahila Shakti’ scheme aimed at empowering women socially and economically in the state. Around one lakh SHG members are expected to attend, where the Chief Minister may announce incentives like interest-free loans and loan waivers. Special transport arrangements have been made for women’s groups to reach the venue. All ministers have been asked to attend this important event before the Lok Sabha elections.
Amit Shah will be in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning for various BJP programs, including booth level meetings and a visit to Bhagya Lakshmi temple. The party is also organizing a public meeting in Adilabad, which Amit Shah is likely to attend in the evening. Despite recent defeats, the BJP is working to show its strength in Karimnagar, where the BRS has traditionally had a stronghold.
KCR is focused on winning the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat, which was a BRS stronghold until the last general election. The party has been losing ground in the district, with BJP and Congress making gains. BRS leaders from all districts have been invited to a public meeting in Karimnagar, where they will spread KCR’s message across the state.
During the public meeting, KCR is expected to make significant political statements.
