South Central Railway in Hyderabad conducted a review meeting on Wednesday to assess the safety and punctuality of train operations and freight loading performance in the zone. The meeting emphasized the importance of counseling sessions and practical demonstrations of safe working practices for field-level personnel. Inspections will also be intensified to ensure the safe passage of trains.
Arun Kumar Jain, the General Manager of SCR, commended the officers and staff for their performance in the current financial year. He urged them to continue their efforts to improve goods loading in order to meet the requirements of freight customers and achieve the targets set for the year.
Later, senior officers, including Arun Kumar Jain, conducted a detailed review of train punctuality across the zone. It was decided that divisional railway managers would identify and monitor trains that have lost punctuality and take appropriate measures to improve their punctuality.
