Review of Amarnath Yatra arrangements on Friday by Amit Shah in Jammu and Kashmir

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, is going to Jammu and Kashmir for two days starting on Friday. He will chair a meeting to review security measures for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, which starts on July 1. After the meeting on Friday, he will visit the cave shrine on Saturday. He will also visit the Baltal base camp to review preparations for the pilgrims’ stay and safety. During his visit, he will meet with delegations of political parties and civil society, including representatives from the Gujjar, Bakarwals, and Pahari communities. Security forces are on high alert for the VVIP visit.
