Kothagudem District Collector Dr Priyanka Ala recently held a video conference to discuss the progress of repairs at 862 schools under the Amma Adarsh School programme. She instructed officials to ensure speedy completion of repairs, maintain quality, and monitor the work being done by the school committees.
The Collector emphasized the importance of completing all repairs before the schools reopen after summer vacation on June 12. MPDOs and MEOs were tasked with overseeing the progress of works and ensuring they are finished on time. DEEs and AEs were asked to submit estimates for remaining repair works by Monday evening.
During the conference, arrangements for the school reopening were discussed, with participation from DRDO Vidya Chandana and Education Department officials. It is crucial for all officials to work together to ensure a successful start to the new school year.
